“An offense!”, say fans about fake news from Bolsonaristas. The group became known throughout the country in 2013 for promoting social actions and political protests on behalf of the singer.

The national fan club of singer Lady Gaga, the Haus of Little Monsters Brazil, spoke out this Sunday (5/11) against fake news involving the singer in Brazil. Last week, bolsonaristas announced that the North American artist would intervene in the country to annul the elections. According to the fan club, based in Brasília (DF), photos of the singer wearing the Brazil shirt were also used during an election campaign in false support of Bolsonaro for the presidency.

According to the note, “in addition to harming the population with mass manipulation, such fake news revolts the singer’s fans by fueling hatred, division of people and lack of commitment to the truth – things that Lady Gaga and her fans repudiate.”

The group gained national notoriety in 2013, when it started to promote social actions on behalf of the singer in DF. In 2014, the group promoted the 1st Flash Mob Against Bullying and Homophobia at the National Museum of the Republic and went viral again by demonstrating against Vladmir Putin and Russia’s anti-gay laws in front of the Itamaraty Palace, when Dilma Rousseff received presidents of the countries that make up the BRICS and UNASUR.

On the occasion, the group sang the “gay anthem” Born This Way, by Lady Gaga, and solidarily supported Russian homosexuals, reinforcing the speeches of Lady Gaga, who at the time had launched a campaign to boycott the Olympic Games in Sochi (Russia) . The singer, like other celebrities, was banned from entering that country for defending gay rights.

Denialist theories

According to one of the fake news disseminated by Whatsapp and other Bolsonar digital media shortly after Lula’s election, the “Minister of the Hague Court”, Stefani Joanne Germanotta (real name of the singer Lady Gaga) would annul the elections in Brazil within 72 hours.

“Bolsonaro talks this Wednesday (2/11) with Minister Stefani Germanotta about measures to be taken after 72 hours. , accompanied by a photo of the singer.

The second fake news involving the singer emerged after federal deputy Carla Zambelli (PL) fled to the United States to denounce alleged fraud in the elections: “After the meeting with Carla Zambeli [sic], where she took the evidence to the United States , and managed to convince Minister Stefani Germanotta, of the Hague Court, with a report with more than 180 pages, where serious errors were found”, reads an excerpt from the message.

Meanwhile, bolsonaristas from all over Brazil are waiting for the annulment of the elections by Lady Gaga, who is not a minister and was one of the main supporters of Joe Biden (Democrat / left) in the last United States elections.

REPUBLIC NOTICE

In view of the increase in fake news involving North American singer Lady Gaga in recent days, the national fan club Haus of Little Monsters Brazil, based in Brasília (DF), comes to the public to repudiate the use of the artist’s name in slander involving disputes. politics and culture of denialism.

As many had to do this year in Brazil, Lady Gaga had to take a stand recently for the defense of democracy by supporting Joe Biden (Democrat) for the presidency of the United States. Here, we are happy with Lula’s election, but we will remain vigilant, nonpartisan and independent so that, like Lady Gaga, we can continue to contribute to a fairer and happier country for all. We are one people and we are love! Respect Lady Gaga!
